Austin’s septic population is concentrated in three rings: the western suburbs along the Lake Travis corridor (Bee Cave, Lakeway, West Lake Hills, Spicewood), eastern Travis County (Manor, Elgin, Pflugerville fringe), and acreage properties scattered through Hays and Williamson Counties spilling into the Austin metro.
