SIGNS YOU MIGHT NEED

Austin Tank Pumping

Found sprinkler heads in your yard that you never put in? In Austin, that usually means an aerobic septic system, and it needs pumping like any other tank. Aerobic or conventional, here's how a tank tells you it's due.

Any Of These Happening To You?

Drains slowing all over the house?

Gurgling when a toilet flushes?

A greener stripe across the lawn?

Spray water looking cloudy?

Can't recall the last pump-out?

Sound familiar? Call and describe what's going on, and we'll help you decide if it's time to pump.

Septic Ground In Austin

Pumping Austin Tanks, West And East Of I-35

Austin tanks come two ways, and the visit is different for each. Spray heads in the yard mean an aerobic unit, which is most of the west side, where the rock sits right under the grass. A plain lid and a drainfield mean a conventional tank.

You don't have to know which one you own before you call. It's plain once the lids are up, and either way the price comes before the pumping.

An Aerobic Unit Is Pumped, Never Dry

Out west, your system has moving parts: an aerator, a pump and the spray heads that water the yard, and moving parts need somebody watching them. Pumping an aerobic spray system is a different job from a conventional pump-out for that reason.

We take the solids out but stop short of empty, because the bacteria left in the tank are what treat your water. While the lids are off, we check the aerator, spray heads and control panel, and anything wearing out gets named before we close the lids.

A Conventional Tank Is Emptied All The Way

On a conventional tank, we empty the whole thing. The drainfield is what gets hurt when a tank goes too long, and east of I-35, in clay that drains slowly, it gets hurt first. On that side, the date matters more than anything else about the job.

A pump-out is one piece of our septic service in Austin, which also covers repairs, inspections and plans. For a home in the towns around the city, septic tank pumping in Travis County works the same way.

HomeField installed a new septic system for us a couple months ago. They did a fantastic job! And the service afterwards has been top notch as well.

So glad we found them! Wilson responded to our call right away and came out to inspect the system. Septic issues can be stressful, so we were relieved to find a company we could trust. They inspected everything thoroughly, explained things clearly, and thankfully everything was ok.

HomeField was professional and thorough. Kris also took the time to explain our septic system and what it needs to function properly.

Start To Finish

How A Pump-Out Goes

01

Call Or Book

Tell us what you know about the drive and the gate, and we'll plan truck access on hillside and gated lots before we head your way.

02

We Find The Lids

We find the tank and dig to the lids, and we warn you before any deep digging, so nothing in your yard comes as a surprise.

03

Price, Then Pump

You get the price before anything leaves the tank. Once you say go, we pump it out and visually inspect the tank while the lids are off.

04

What We Saw

Every aerobic pump-out includes a check of the aerator, spray heads and control panel, so a worn part turns up on this trip. Then we explain what we saw.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What An Austin Pump-Out Costs

Your tank's size sets the price, and you get the number before any pumping starts, so call and we'll price yours. If it's aerobic, an Advantage Plan covers the inspections that show when it's due; the pump-out is separate.

$695

One price for tanks up to 1,200 gallons, aerobic or conventional. If you know your tank's size, mention it when you call.

Bigger tanks

Anything over 1,200 gallons is priced on the phone, and one call is the quickest way to learn where yours lands.

$39 a month

Where an Advantage Plan starts. It's the simplest way to keep up with what the law asks of an aerobic system.

Pump-Outs In Austin

Septic Tank Pumping And Cleaning In Austin

Septic tank cleaning in Austin and a pump-out are the same visit, and you should come away from it knowing three things: where your lids are, how the tank looked, and what it needs next, if anything.

On a hillside or gated lot, the lids alone are worth knowing. We show you where they are before we cover them back up, so nobody has to go hunting for them next time.

What Septic Cleaning In Austin Covers

If nobody remembers the last pump-out, that's fine. The tank's condition while it's open shows where things stand, and you hear it straight before we leave: how the tank looked, whether the moving parts on an aerobic unit were doing their job, and roughly how long you have before the next one.

Your West Austin Crew

Based In West Austin

When your tank is due, you want a crew that knows your ground. HomeField Travis County works out of west Austin, so the hillside drives and lake lots out this way are close to home for us.

We're locally owned, and HomeField teams in Texas and Arizona stand behind us, so the neighbors on your job bring the training and equipment of a much bigger outfit.
