Cresson Septic Services | HomeField Parker County
ONE CALL FOR ALL
YOUR SEPTIC NEEDS
Cresson is a small town with a complication most towns don't have: it sits where three counties meet. Hood, Parker, and Johnson all come together within a couple of miles of the US 377 and US 67 crossing, and which county your driveway falls in decides who issues your septic permit. A neighbor down the road might answer to a different county than you do. HomeField Parker County works all three sides of that corner.
The state rules (TCEQ Chapter 285) are the same on every side of those county lines. The county offices that take your permit, schedule your inspection, and track compliance are not. Hood works out of Granbury, Parker out of Weatherford, Johnson out of Cleburne. We know which window your address belongs to before the design conversation even starts.

HOW WE SERVE CUSTOMERS IN
Cresson, Texas
What Do Our Septic Tank Services Look Like In Cresson?
Most rural towns sit comfortably inside one county. Cresson doesn't, and that's the thing that shapes septic work here more than anything else. The town wraps around the US 377 and US 67 crossing, and Hood, Parker, and Johnson Counties all meet within a couple of miles of it. A property on the north side of town might be in Parker. Half a mile south, you're in Hood. A few miles east, Johnson. We've handled jobs where two neighbors had different counties on their septic permits and one of them had no idea the line ran that close to the back fence.
What that means in practice is that the paperwork changes with your address. The state's design standards are identical everywhere, same setbacks, same tank and drainfield rules, but the county environmental offices that actually receive the application and send the inspector each run their own way. Hood out of Granbury, Parker out of Weatherford, Johnson out of Cleburne. We work all three, so we knock on the right door the first time. Then there's the ground itself. Around Cresson the soil turns rocky, with limestone close to the surface in spots that tighten up a perc test in a hurry, so we test and design from what's actually there instead of assuming a Cresson lot will pass standard.
Why Do People Love Living In Cresson?
Cresson is small on purpose. People pick it because it isn't Fort Worth and it isn't Granbury, even though it's a short drive to both. The intersection that complicates the septic permits is the same one that makes the location work: you can be at a desk in downtown Fort Worth in 45 minutes or out on Lake Granbury in 20, then come home to a town small enough that the post office knows you.
For a place of around 900 people, Cresson punches above its weight. MotorSport Ranch, the private members' track east of town, brings car enthusiasts in from across North Texas. Pecan Plantation, just over the Hood County line with its own golf course and airport, is the larger residential gravity nearby and pulls more retail through Cresson than the local population alone would support. The land around all of it is rolling Cross Timbers country with limestone outcrops and pecan bottoms along the Brazos drainage, its own profile, not the heavy clay of east Parker County and not the sandy soils farther west. Most homes here run on septic and will keep doing so, because no single city utility is going to absorb three counties of perimeter properties. HomeField Parker County does that work across all three.
