(Mid-Tier) Mechanical Advantage Plan Terms
PLAN DETAILS INSPECTION ADVANTAGE PLAN
Compliance coverage plus mechanical repairs for air compressors & water pumps.
THIS PLAN INCLUDES
• Three inspections per year (one every four months)
• Basic filter cleanings
• Required compliance reports submitted to the county
• Mechanical repairs for air compressors & water pumps
• Lower standard service call fees 5% discount on repairs not covered
INCLUDED SERVICES
• Three inspections per year (once every four months)
• Inspection of listed components
• Air compressor filter cleaning
• Irrigation pump filter cleaning (if needed)
• Sprinkler head filter cleaning/adjustment (if needed)
• TCEQ & County compliance reports submitted
• 2 chlorine tablets or up to 1 gallon of liquid chlorine per visit (if applicable)
• Mechanical repairs included (air compressors & water pumps)
• 5% discount on additional repairs not included in this plan
• Licensed Inspector: Brian Wakefield, MP15
SERVICE CALL FEES
• Standard service call: $50 (+ labor & parts, if applicable)
• Emergency service call (weekends, holidays, non-business hours): $150 (+ labor & parts)
RESIDENTIAL INSPECTION CONTRACT
HomeField Williamson County provides three inspections per year, conducted once every four months.
EACH INSPECTION INCLUDES
• Component checks – Aerator(s), irrigation pump(s), disinfection device, chlorine supply, electrical circuits, distribution system, spray field vegetation, sludge readings, and overall system condition where visible.
DISINFECTION UNIT RESPONSIBILITY
• The property owner is responsible for maintaining the disinfection unit and adding chlorine tablets between inspection visits.
• We will clean the pump and air compressor filter when necessary and add chlorine only during routine maintenance visits.
REPAIRS & PUMPING
Coverage for mechanical, electrical, and pumping services is plan-specific. Refer to the Included Services
section of your agreement for the items covered under your plan.
• Mechanical Repairs – included in Mid-Tier & Premier plans
• Electrical Repairs – Premier plan only
• Septic Pumping – Premier plan only, beginning in Year 2
Additional fees apply for non-covered items, first-year pump-outs, excavation, risers, or other access
issues.
TCEQ COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
This Advantage Plan is designed to comply with TCEQ requirements for aerobic septic system maintenance contracts under 30 TAC §285.7(d). HomeField Williamson County will respond to complaints regarding the operation of your system within 72 hours during normal business hours. Maintenance Provider: Brian Wakefield, License #MP15.
REPAIRS & EXCLUSIONS
Repairs and part replacements outside the agreement are billed separately. Additional work requires prior approval. This plan does not cover pre-existing conditions, accidental damage, improper use, unauthorized repairs, overloading, leaks, failing tanks, custom control panels, long wire pulls, conduit replacements, or manufacturer warranties (Jet & Norweco). We reserve the right to exclude any failing mechanical or electrical parts upon our first inspection; if needed, we will provide an estimate before including them in this plan.
PROPERTY OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor the system for signs of failure and maintain chlorine (if applicable).
• Keep pets and unauthorized persons away from system components.
ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
• Provide unrestricted access to the septic system.
• HomeField Williamson County is not liable for animals escaping fenced areas or injuries caused by animals on the property.
• If a technician cannot access the property, the owner will be charged a service call fee and required to reschedule.
This agreement is not effective until payment is received and is void if payment is not received within 7 days of signing. All maintenance plans are for 1 year and will start the day it is entered into our system unless a later date is specified.
